How do I reserve a Paper Review in the Writing Centre?
To make it as easy as possible for you to find and use our system, the Writing Centre is now located within Inspirenet. Just select the 'Writing Centre' option in the Centre for Student Success menu on the Inspirenet homepage.
This will take you to the new Writing Centre area, including the link to request a new review and the dashboard of your current and past reviews.
Making a new request
To request a new review, click button that says "New Paper Review Request." This will open the webform where you will submit your request.
Fill in the webform fields and then attach the file you would like us to review. To do this, click "Attach File" in the "Edit" menu at the top of the webform.
This is where you will select the file from your device and upload it to your review request. Please upload your file in .doc or .docx format if possible.
Be sure to click "Save", either in the "Edit" menu at the top of the webform, or at the bottom of the form, to save your request and your attachment.
Attaching a file after submitting your request
Your Paper Review request will not be allocated to a tutor until a file has been uploaded to your request and will show as being in "pending" status. To add a file after you submit a request, click the request from the list of your current and past reviews to open it.
This will open your request. Click "Edit Item" to open the editing pane in which you will attach your file.
Click "Attach File" to select your file, and be sure to click "Save" to save your changes once you are finished.
