The Turnitin draft link allows students a chance to see an originality report before they turn in their assignment for a grade. This opportunity could help students fix their work before it is seen by a faculty member. Students are provided the draft link in their first module for a few reasons.
Most new students are unfamiliar with Turnitin, and since it will be such an important part of your studies, it's crucial to learn how to use the tool and to interpret the originality report. Students who have not needed to cite and reference in the past or who have been away from studying for a long time may need help figuring out citation and referencing rules.
