Failure for any reason to submit work at the appropriate time, without a prior formal request being made, will result in a grading penalty for that module work. Where you submit work up to or before 12 Midnight (24:00 hours) in your local time zone, seven calendar days after the deadline, the grade will be capped at 50.
If you submitted your assignment late and were not able to submit an extension request due to a Mitigating Circumstance, it may be possible to retroactively apply for this grading penalty to be lifted.
Please see our full Guidelines on how the University handles Mitigating Circumstances, before submitting your application. Please note, not all requests will be approved. Applications must be submitted as soon as possible.
You may submit your Mitigating Circumstance Late Submission Penalty Removal request here.
